My name is Michel Lehon. I’m a Belgian small business owner living near Brussels with a passion for technology and creating objects (or the other way around).

I have been providing SAS consulting services for more than 20 years. During that time I have built a strong understanding of the SAS Platform architecture and provided services on many topics around the SAS tools. I have developed an expertise around the integration of the SAS Platform and other Web Technologies (Web Services, Custom front-ends to SAS applications, …)

During my career I have been providing services either directly or through partners; including: SAS Belgium, SBI Consulting, Sciensano, Solid Partners (now Keyrus), GSK Pharma, BNP Paribas Fortis, ING, Hoffmann-La Roche (Pharma), European Commission (DG II and XIX), AXA, Mensura/Allianz, Electrabel, the Belgian Railways (SNCB/NMBS) and many others.

More details can be found on my LinkedIn profile.

Outside the SAS world, I have been quite busy learning about the Internet of Things revolution and the Maker movement. Combining the two opens a very wide set of opportunities for each of us. Small companies or even individuals can make many ideas come to life at a (tiny) fraction of the cost it used to be a few years ago. I’m convinced that combining my data management expertise gained using the SAS platform with the data gathering power of IoT can lead to very interesting challenges in the future.
